A People
Gathered upon the sacred fire burning
Of rustic melodies foreseen and told
A crying vision of silent yearning
Has planted a seedling of purest gold
Where mystic doorways spill colored reason
And pounding drumbeats touch prolific flight
To cleanse the hopeful on the new season
To birth a song of everlasting light
Where plums of smoke rise beyond the moonlight
And mystical stardust in dreams conceive
A spirit chant of the coming daylight
As summer awakes on this sacred eve
For souls departed I pledge deep respect
Love honor wisdom on water's reflect
