A Path

Winter is coming as leaves let go Leaving bare trees behind But, bare trees open views To sunrises, sunsets and distant mountains The ending of autumn brings new things That I embrace with the season’s change The first snowfall brings a sparkling sight With a fresh peace that I can’t explain As I walk through the leaves, Later my footprints may be frozen On a path I took, to see all that I can Heidi Sands 10/17/20

Good for you! Your vision is so bright, cheery, and clear! Not mine in winter. When it snows, I see shovels. lol. Here's to your optimism! :) gw
