A New Year Dawns

A New Year Dawns - Only Once Santa has Gone My soup from supper is no longer warm So I write some more words Then begin to yawn It's not yet even close to daylight As outside is still a coal dark night And Spring is not yet ready to be sprung As Winter and her intent has only just begun Flu has set itself deep in my body Head so thick I can hardly Noddy But Big Ears and some friends pass a toddy Its called a New Year celebration One we wish for all the nation I for one can get the drift Even if I don't believe in it But as Santa one said It's better to be naughty than nice? Mmm... maybe I got that wrong Maybe it was Rudolph who sang that song? Santa Claus is still yet to come to town I sure hope I don't miss the clown Cos once he has been down my chimney It's back to you and to me To make sure that reality is Keeping the World from Insanity Happy Xmas and New Year my friends Happy 2020 DAMO x

Greetings. We both have the flu? Amazing? I loved " I can hardly noddy" LOL And let's hope we can keep the world sane by all of us trying to understand each other and respecting others' points of view. Hope we both get well soon, I can't even be at the Soup except for short spurts of time...maybe tomorrow I can. Pangiota xxx

DAMO.. You are right. It only lasted two days. The heat is on and that dries out my throat. Funny, though, am left with a sultry voice. Very funny_))) Panagiota xxxxx
