'a Mother's Devotion'

Your love entails Our every need Your love sometimes entails You going without So we can have There are times when you are The mother and the father There are times when you are The teacher and the friend In the many roles you portrait You never forget to love Even your scolding Comes from that place called love We do not always say it With our actions or with our words But we want to say it today We love and appreciate all you do So on this day that feels like any other typical day We want to wish you Happy Mother’s Day!!

That is lovely, my mother left home when I was 13 I lived with my dad, it still breaks my heart I try not to think about it, I turned out just fine and always try to be there for my kids, I don't blame my mum in anyway I know she did what she had to do for her own sanity, she was unhappy but also suffered bad nerves, I miss her in a big way, my poem just one thing expresses total forgiveness And I wrote a prayer for my mum

Great lines with majestic eloquence.. Your meandering of words still did not prevent your peice from giving out its message. This is an absolute 7!

Just lovely. You have expressed the thoughts most would love to say but are unable to. While my mom is no longer around to hear what I have to say, here's wishing yours will have more days to enjoy the fruits of her labor for having raised a fine person as you. Another 7. Kim

What a beautiful tribute to all mothers, Missy! I totally agree with Andrea below, how you have an awesome mom, to raise lovely children such as yourself! Do hug your mom for me! Me, still trying (and desperately failing) to do some catch up on a lot of stuff that needs to be done, blaming my old, very sleepy self.
