A Magical Carpet Ride

Come fly with me to heaven's door On a magical carpet ride We'll explore the mighty universe Reach the mystical worlds on high We can only guess what secrets lie Beyond the heavenly spheres Another world like ours you say? We'll probably never know I fear Travelling through time and outer space Our minds are overwhelmed by it all Viewing our planet from way out there A shimmering blue and green ball Come fly with me above the stars And view nature's mighty plan Feel the vastness of the universe Put it all into place if you can © Jack Ellison 2012

I really like the premise of this poem, with your imagination I think you could take this one much further. I was just starting to get into it when it ended.

I would love to ride on a magical carpet, that would be fun! Going into space is only a dream I would love to experience, so it must be a magical carpet that would take me there. I love this incredible poem my friend! Very ingenious and fun, Great Work!!
