A Love Greater Than Love

For there is no reasoning with love from above,
WE LOVED WITH A LOVE THAT WAS GREATER THAN LOVE.
In times of darkness you saturated my veins,
now only memories of true romance remain.
I thought I couldn't without the depth of you,
WE LOVED WITH A LOVE THAT WAS GREATER THAN TRUE.
In sickness in health, 'til death did us part,
we took a chance on true passion's heart.
Inside my desires I've reached for your soul,
WE LOVE WITH A LOVE THAT WAS GREATER THAN WHOLE.
Beliefs in things that gave me truth and hope,
with your adoration I now know how to cope.
When you died, I died and; you're beating heart above,
WE LOVED WITH A LOVE THAT WAS GREATER THAN LOVE.
No more torment you endure on this earth with pain,
now only heartfelt memories of our life remain.
