A Little Kindness Never Hurts, I Say
We all need kindness in our lives, and so
at least a little bit of it each day
is something that I always try to show.
A little kindness never hurts, I say.
Should friends of mine have an emergency,
(perhaps a gal pal needs a place to stay),
she’s welcome at my house, and meals are free!
A little kindness never hurts, I say.
I love to bake for others; this I do
a few times monthly. Though I’m no gourmet,
my cooking isn’t bad! I’d cook for you!
A little kindness never hurts, I say.
I’m very tolerant. “Live and let live”
is how I think. When loved ones go astray,
I do not judge; I easily forgive.
A little kindness never hurts, I say.
When friends ask for a favor, I will try
to help them if I can without delay.
We all need one another to get by!
A little kindness never hurts, I say.
