A Little-Known Poet Dies

A new intern, nervy, eager. Old guy in bed - terminal ticket to wherever. He opens his eyes, points a trembling finger to something or other, then speaks. "Google me." The young Doctor only watches TikTok for the cat videos... This facile observation, is not a metaphor for anything at all.

Heart wrenching poetry here Eric - I dutifully googled you. Are you the poetic photographer? Published also. I regard you as one of the true poets on the site (of 44000 writing poetry). Definitely tuned into the heart of what it is to be human.

Hi Dilly, sounds like me - could be! You are too kind, I just am an also ran in the pantheon of good poets, but occasionally I get it right! Glad to have such an insightful reader though. Cheers D E
