A Light Tap Upon Heaven's Door
She came unannounced
A light tap upon my door
Greeting me with a loving smile
Sweet eyes to adore
A pentacle of beauty
A spirit of lasting light
She shared all her precious words
And calmly took flight
And now we gather
With silence abound
Pictures within our minds
And sweet memories that drown
Wondering and waiting
For a soft prayer of relief
Still holding each precious memory
In flooding tears of grief

Along the winding path of cobblestone a light Winter rain falls
