I mouth a prayer for hope and healing
Feelings of doubt so often plague me
With their skepticism and suspicion
Their hesitancy and apprehension
The plagues of worry and superstition
Coming from a tormenting thought
Lies spoken by the enemy
Who encourages mistrust
Cynicism and disbelief
Suspecting love
Of grief
I mouth a prayer for kindness
Whispers of sweet inspiration
Joy that peppers my ideas
And answers me with
Creativity and peace
Assurance that I have
What it takes to give
The gift of love
From within
Where I am
Only me
I mouth a prayer of longing for wisdom
Promises of truths that abide within
Coloring my heart in hues of
Crimson pleasure, thrilling
Reflections that sooth
And soften the heart
With a sense of charity
That gives fully
Unconditionally
With a love
That never
Ends
I mouth a prayer for God’s blessings
To sustain and reflect goodness
Within our spirits, our souls
Where light and love flow
In breaths of fiery passion
That blows through
The thoughts,
In waves of
Desire that
Enchants
And grants
Adoration
For His
Son
The One I worship and know
As my guiding light
My echo of peace
My enlightenment
My faith in grace
The answer to all my prayers
For love that abides
Deep within
My soul
Shining
Out
A sparkle of hope
In the dark
Like a star, like the moon
Lighting the way to truth
It is this love that lives
To reveal to us
The One who instills in us
Unconditional love
From above
A light from the Son
