A Lesson Learned
On a bright sunny day
She wants to take a walk
In the nature path
She wants to spend the night
Sleeping in the forest
All the needed gear packed
The trail is a narrow pass
Makes it hard for walking
Yet onward she walks on
Onto the forest trail
She notices the trail narrows
She keeps walking forward
As she continues on
Making it harder to walk
With her gear she carries
Enjoying the sounds of nature
She stops to rest and listen
Then continues walking
Through the forest pass way
As she walks further on
Now she is very tired
She wants to slumber
yet she decides this is not right
Even though the scenery changed
She decided to return home
She stumbled in the woods
Tripping,falling, on logs
Going up hills and downwards
She told herself it was enough
I will take shorter walks now
In the wooded areas
She learned her lesson
