A Journey Far
The place I'd like to go is far
A journey no plane would dare
It's that distant planet called Mars
I'd like to see the view from there!
Perhaps a Martian I would meet
How thrilling it would be
But it could be too dangerous a feat
Especially if he wasn't friendly
I'd love to see the jeweled Earth
From the view the stars enjoy
That view alone would be worth
The price, for any Earthly envoy
And where a million stars disperse
I'd ponder then, the universe
