A Granny I Might Be

A granny I might be

A granny I might be
But I can always see
My hair is growing grey
My shape is quite okay

I still love my fashion
I guess it’s still my passion
I always look quite smart and dressy
And very rarely I look messy.

I’m older, but I'm still a lassie
Sometimes me, I do look classy
I would not change a single day
Not ever, not in any way.

How the years they will turn out
Well who knows, I’ll wait that out.

Hi Vera! Enjoyed this very much. Nowadays grannies are so busy with looking after grandchildren that they do not have time to get old:)...on the contrary they are kept young and active. Have a nice day and take care. // paul

Hi Paul, thank you so much for taking the time to read, this is one granny that doesn't look after her grandies. they live too far away, mind you we do have one living with us but his mother looks after him and anyway I don't feel old, I try to keep myself young by keeping up with the latest fashions, have a great day and take care my friend.............Vera............

Wish I was Ilene, but I really don't think old, I look at my 96 year old mother and even she doesn't look her age, maybe it is in our genes, sometimes I still feel like I am in my 40's but I know I am not, I just have to look at my brood of grandchildren to know that, thank you for the lovely comment my dear, take care.........Vera...........

I agree Anne Lise grannies do seem to stay young these days, I think maybe it is the fashions that keep us going because I do love all these young clothes that girls are wearing and the make up that they have out now, not that I wear any, everyone always says that I don't look my age, mind you sometimes I do feel it, my grandies range from 5 to 18 and there are seven of them, thank you for reading my dear and take care.........Vera......
