A Godly Saint

He was like a daddy to every daughter, and a father to every son. His compassion for everyone, showed in the love he gave away. He not only preached the gospel for over 50 years, he lived it. Children gathered around him, to show their love for him, and all he did, was give it right back. More men should be like him, this would be a much better world, a kinder place to live. He soon will be with Jesus and when he meets the Savior face to face, the Lord will tell, him well done, my faithful servant, well done. Will truly miss you dear pastor, you were one of a kind, that very few are left. Wrote 8-11-08

What a tender tribute to an obviously, kind and special man. It sounds like one, that had he heard it himself, may have been able to use the beauty of the poem from his podium, as a tool of devotion. Your admiration was filled with love. I'm sure he was deserving. Blessings...Carrie
