A Girl's Dream

Once upon a time there was a girl. A girl who dreamed of having the life she’d always wanted. A good job, a husband, some kids, a house… a life. The girl used to imagine herself growing up and experiencing everything the world had to offer. When she got older however, she realized the world wasn’t what she dreamed all along. There’s darkness that seems to overtake the light so much, she forgets it’s even there. From mass shootings to coastal boomings, the world is scared. She wanted to make a difference, but she didn’t know how. She started writing words to find a way out. Hoping maybe someday her words will ring true. Hoping maybe someday, the world will pull through.
