A Frosty Resurrection
One day when the children woke up
It was snowing, what a surprise!
They clapped and laughed and got dressed quick
While their parents just rolled their eyes!
They quickly formed the snow outside
Big squares made them easy to stack
For a hasty resurrection
Of Frosty the Snowman out back
Their parents yelled, "You roll the snow,"
"Not make squares, have you forgot?"
They said, "this is how we do it,"
"Because that's the way we roll..not!"
They lost the button for his nose
A carrot was the nose they picked
The corncob pipe made Frosty ill
So to the curb, it was kicked!
When they threw on the old silk hat
It didn't fit, because of square snow
No fitting hat meant no magic
No Frosty to put on a show!
Now the moral of the story
Shout it down all the school halls
If you're going to make a snowman
It's important to have snowballs!
