A Father's Day Poem To You
Ten little finger and ten little toes.
Will it be trucks or will it be bows.
A father wearily anticipates.
Heaven sent from above.
A father has undying love.
Smiles that warm your heart.
Hopes that we will never part.
From scraped knees to first car rides.
A Father's job comes with surprise.
Every kiss and hug is worth the wait.
That look they give when it's time to graduate.
No matter how old they grow and where they live
A fathers worrying will never change.
Your kids are your kids no matter what age.
Little feet that one day will be too grown.
To dance along on your feet.
Your heart will never skip a beat.
