A Falling Body
watch the heavenly forms fall
a body in motion a remains in devotion
how odd, held in time
in the shafts of light sliced though shutters
in and out of time down it tumbles
over and over hitting the floor
the pavement
the wall in a bright splatter.
Scarlet.
Away the dark man flees
to see the shadows come
grab the fork grab the fire
run till Horizon a night
A Time for an execution.
Holding a child’s hand, tight…
