A dream, maybe of so long, long ago- It had snowed on this frozen winter night, and my Snowball cat was lost in the snow; I left in the dark with a lantern light, going deeper and deeper in the cold . . . And then, I heard a faint meow-meow, and my Snowball came leaping towards me; but oh dear, did not know the way home now! Holding my Snowball I fell on my knee, that's where my father found me- I am told . . . ______________________________ April 16, 2019 Poetry/Rhyme/A Dream, Maybe Copyright Protected, ID 19-1135-175-02 All Rights Reserved. I had a beautiful long haired white cat I also named Snowball which some stole from me. I searched for her for months and one-day I think I saw her in my neighborhood. She seemed happy so I didn't try to go and bring her home, it had been too long. Your sweet poem brought her memory back to me. I loved it! : ) xxoo

Connie, that is so sad, and your decision to leave her was also because of your love for her. I will never forget my Snowball cat, One day she ran across the street to meet us coming home from school and was hit by a car, to say we were devastated was an understatement, mother said no more cats in this house through her tears and then, we got Marmalade ~
