A Dream
A Dream
Who has control of a dream?
Who can cast it down like a lot from heaven?
Perhaps the angels?
Or is it from the gods?
Dreams are birthed as ideas from the mighty throne of our Creator
Who can search our hearts and minds and like a puzzle
Unravel the pieces?
Who can travel back in time
Or into the future?
Our heads gently lying on this red velvet pillow
Tossing and turning
Reveling in fear and joy with rapid eye motion
Dreams are birthed in heaven
In the same spot the thoughts of this girl’s life were planned
Hoeing and tilling the soil of her life
Til in her dreams she got it right
It was so real it couldn’t have been her imagination
Thank you heavenly Father for sending this dream
Thank you for sending like flags of victory
The moments of her future etched in eternal stone
Gather up my dreams and place them in a precious box
To be reviewed at the end of my journey
Gather them up like prized possessions
I long to watch them all over and over again
