A Dog, a Frog

A dog, a frog, a nose, a hop, and I observe, and none will stop. The dog does kiss the frog with nose, a soft, small touch, and off he goes! If dogs could laugh, giggle, or grin… She taps his butt, and there! again! At last, we let him hop away, and think about tomorrow’s play.

Dogs and frogs make for an interesting blog or poem. But, Gershon seems to be overthinking these things or maybe I'm just a bit simple minded.

First grade is fun! I say dogs and frogs are fun and funny at any age. Gershon is fun as well! So petticoats in the denouement sounds grand as well.

I think he’s having fun with my silliness. I have a muse with a first grade reading level sometimes

This is a little too deep, even for me. However, I duly note the use of conjunctive dissonance in the 3rd stanza, counterbalanced by the piercing pinafors and petticoats of the denouement, all set off against the backdrop of the Petro-Pannish Pleistocene Wars. ~ Clive Barnes, Parisian Observer
