A Do-Over

I watch the waves as they first touch land, and a bit further before they recede. They wipe away what was there on the sand. If we could do the same to things we don't need. If and when we make a mistake we could rectify it right away. We could wipe it away like a seascape, An "It never happened", you might say. As a child we had do-overs, in our play. Reworked things to be as they should. Extend the concept into today, To do do-overs whenever, if only we could. A good idea but one that will never be. We only have once to do it and get it right. Making sure of what we're doing is the key. Are we able to do it, you never know, we just might.

I like this rhyming Sandra. I believe some things can be made right creatively with practice. I remember when I couldn't paint and it took a long time to feel like one was Ok or right. I like the comparison with the ocean with this and mistakes in life. :)

Thank you, Heidi. Practice does help. I need to expand on word usage. Try to add another dimension to my writing.

Hello Sandra Weiss, do it once and it is done... Sometimes a task has to be done twice before it is done right. Well for some of us. Have a nice day my friend.
