The sherry cream sounds delicious. The adults in my family had mince pie with hard sauce--butter, powdered sugar and whiskey. My hard sauce was butter and sugar :) I love "light as an angel's sigh." A Merry Christmas to you!

Hi Ann! Again, Happy New Year! My husband's family always had mince pie with hard sauce which has morphed into a steamed persimmon pudding with, of course, hard sauce! Sherry Cream is a lovely, light dessert after a Christmas dinner of roast beef! So glad you enjoyed sharing this Yuletide specialty. Thank you for your lovely note!
