Sassy, sexy, and sincere; there’s not a deadlier combination anywhere. Ready to listen, ready to learn, ready to be a friend. Superb! Willing to help, at a moment's notice, in spite of other plans, This is how the girl next door becomes the soulmate for her man. It's not rocket science, it's not chemistry, it's the deadly combination.

Back at you on this one, Caren I did meet a young lady like this 24 years ago---from Ukraine, and with all the virtues mentioned in your poem, and then some. (E.g., I can't recall her ever complaining!) We've been happily married 23 years now. Lucky, lucky, lucky me. Best wishes, gw

Lines 2 and 3 are so rare in marriage-age girls in the community where I live. Selfishness seems to reign supreme these days in my neck of the woods. Refreshing for me to read. Thanks for the encouragement, for the hope that young ladies like this are still out there in the US of A. :) gw
