A Day Off
A day off!
What to do first?
Clean the garage?
Plant some flowers?
Trim the rosebush?
A day off!
I sleep late
The cat is mad; his dinner is an hour overdue.
It is too hot now to work in the yard,
And it is way too hot to clean the garage.
I feed the cat and make myself a snack
A day off!
I could lay around and read.
That sounds so lazy!
And enjoyable.
If I had a large
Warm plate of brownies
With some frosting the
Day would be perfect.
A day off!
Hooray!
I go back in the house
To look for brownie mix.
