A Conversation With Mother Nature
Mother nature I want to chat
I would like to say- thank you
For a long Spring thaw we had
Now you decided to sprinkle snow
Well that is alright with me
Except for one little thing
I wonder why you -have
snowflakes
Five days in a row with snow
Followed by the snow squalls
With the snowfall together
As you know-I shoveled five
times
The wide deck with fallen snow
Away from the patio door
It is not easy when snow is
heavy
To remove snow from the patio door
The bird and squirrels are hungry
They can not search for food in the
storm
I must wait for the storm to end to
feed them
When the snow from the deck
Is removed from the pile of snow
