A Conversation With Mother Nature

Mother nature I want to chat I would like to say- thank you For a long Spring thaw we had Now you decided to sprinkle snow Well that is alright with me Except for one little thing I wonder why you -have snowflakes Five days in a row with snow Followed by the snow squalls With the snowfall together As you know-I shoveled five times The wide deck with fallen snow Away from the patio door It is not easy when snow is heavy To remove snow from the patio door The bird and squirrels are hungry They can not search for food in the storm I must wait for the storm to end to feed them When the snow from the deck Is removed from the pile of snow

Hello Deepa, will answer you soup mail tomorrow. Sometimes mother nature can not make up her mind what type of weather to have. It is Spring then it is winter, because it snow. Now it is spring. Have a nice evening my friend.

I like your conversation with Mother Nature it was nicely done. I'm from Buffalo New York so, I had to deal with a lot of snow before I left I also wrote a piece dealing with Mother Nature but mine was more family oriented.

Sounds like here Darlene. Storm after storm rain after rain. If we lived in biblical times this would be described as a plauge

Hello James Edward Lee Sr.,right now we are in another spring thaw. I am so glad it is not snowing any more. The birds and squirrels are able to be fed. My friend have a nice evening .

Darlene, your poem reminds me of when I lived in Alaska. Spring would officially arrive only to be ignored by the fickleness of mother nature. Now, my Husband Bob and are retired in the Treasure Valley of Idaho and are basking in 70°F balmy weather. ~ Sonia

Extremely beautiful and classy. Mother nature is always a force to absorb and communicate with. At times a mess,- I don't like snow. I know she listens, I just wonder if she cares. This is a great way to describe how she makes you feel at the moment.

Awe, a good conversation with nature, but it still turns up it's nose and walks away ignoring your suggestions. I'm luck, no snow this year, but the flooding's do scare me. Nicely done, Darlene.

My shovel is mounted on the front of my truck. Every time we get a snow storm I usually have 2.5 miles of road to clear so we can get back to civilization. Great poem!
