A Complete Unabridged History of the Wild West - Well Nearly

[This is the poem that made me think ‘Hmmm… Sixgun Sid?’
Which led to a plethora of (at least one) ‘adventures’]

                                             *

Cowboys and Red Indians they ride in any weather
Though one will get a soggy hat and one a soggy feather
And all that soggy headwear has been happening forever
Cos Cowboys and Red Indians are really not that clever

Cowboys and Red Indians they rarely get together
When they chase each other they ride horses hell for leather
And Sitting Fox seeks Sixgun Sid for he’s a scalp to sever
And Cowboys and Red Indians they rarely get called Trevor

Cowboys and Red Indians they simply wont endeavour
To shelter under canvas when its raining… No, not ever
Yet even when they're soaking wet they shrug and say “Whatever.”
For Cowboys and Red Indians will share a teepee never

"..they rarely get called Trevor" LOL!! (Does anyone use LOL anymore? I don't know. I'm very '90s) Terry, how sad's this? I actually googled "Cowboys called Trevor" and found this: 'Trevor Brazile has been nominated the King of Cowboys for his phenomenal rodeo career' :) and googling Native Indians got this: 'Name Trevor generally means Large settlement, is of English, Indian, Welsh origin.." You are right though..rare is correct :) Thanks for the chuckle. Cheers - Gary

Terry, I'd have loved to have been there when he found out that all along people hadn't been loving him. :) Cheers - Gary

Ain’t that typical, ask Mr Google about the ludicrously unlikely and he’ll spit in your eye. Glad you got an LOL out of this…. Although, of course, a certain David Cameron thought it meant Lots of Love…. The Dipstick!

Ha! Thank you for the huge grin, Terry! I’m still cracking up at the thought of a cowboy or Indian called Trevor…

I refer, as exhibit one, to Gary’s comments above. In mitigation I defy anyone to not giggle at a cowboy called Trevor.
