A Christmas Sonnet
Santa’s place, in preparation;
While he is on vacation;
Elvin hands, they’re all so busy;
So much so, it makes one dizzy.
Reindeer gorging on their chow;
Happy that they are not cows;
Prepare themselves, mentally;
For soon aloft, they will be.
On Christmas Eve, they’ll Santa fly;
Across the world in Winter’s sky;
With Santa Claus delivering,
Toys for everyone, he’ll bring.
With sleigh all packed and bags of toys piled in the back,
another joyful Christmas comes.
