Been decorating my home for the holidays,
hoping to lift the no Christmas malaise;
I love a Christmas tree blink and a candle haze.
and even bought gifts and wrapped them pretty;
there are gifts from me to me- even for kitty,
many will have no gifts in my city !
This Christmas is a time for thoughts and reflection,
giving my soul and heart an inspection;
on Christmas Day- will fall into recollection,
I will play my favorite Christmas tune;
in the night will look up to the stars and the moon,
and thank God for my Covid free cocoon !
