A Cat Named Romeo

Looking out her window A view in her backyard Pam saw a cat rushing by It happens every day In the evening the cat came She name this cat Romeo Every day she does see him Running, chasing objects The cat was not a stray A collar around his neck Romeo wondered every day Into Pam's back yard Rushing in and dashing out She had no idea who owned this cat Pam watched every for Romeo To come into her back yard It made her day brighter To see this grey stripe cat Come into her back yard This is how he got his name

Nice poem. I once took in a cat with a blue collar, so named him "Blue." He was also a Russian Blue variety and had been abandoned by his owner. When winter came he was eager to come inside. The most loyal cat I ever had besides Mittens. He's gone now but I thought of him after reading your poem. Thanks.
