A Cat
A cat becomes a ball of fur
when curled up cute upon your lap.
Yet, like a spring, triples in length
when standing tall to grasp a treat.
Deep glowing eyes reveal her mood...
you learn accordingly to deal.
She rules you as your royal queen
and wraps you round her finger tight.
You're captured by meows and purrs...
lovin' every minute of it.
