A Case For Memory Management
When one is ‘Old’
As in years
‘Frail’ as in agility,
One looks upon each birthday
(Celebrated by all
But one’s self)
As a reminder
that the ultimate arbiter
‘Time’ Soon to reach out
with its rigid agenda,
when with every sunrise
this perpetual antagonist
that delves in give also take
creates the perfect diagnosis,
one moment a mind
floating through each
specific aspect of one’s youth
Yet! The next
In a fraction of an anomaly
Forgotten one’s own phone number.
