A Butterfly's Tear Drop

A Butterfly’s Tear Drop In a butterfly’s tear drop I see a reflection of sorrow filled sunsets on strawberry skies Loneliness wept at the edge of a petal its fragrance now missing the look in your eyes Quivering clouds with no rain in the forecast alone from the feelings my heart does display Watching it fly upon wing shadowed silence lonely and sad since you went away

You paint with words so beautifully. This one, tho it does not cry of desperation, it tells of a deep sadness from missing someone. I love how you named it too.:-)

Wit till the clouds make way for the sun, till flowers colour your vision, till love tells you it really does exist. It will be yours, my friend.

The loniliness and sadness...the longing...the ache of absence...The Butterfly will always return to the gardener...on that petal She rests.

Good Evening Chris. Without saying this is an entry to be read out loud with emphasis. This is so soft and beautiful just as a butterfly herself. You always deliver marvelous poetic expressions that enhance any and every reader. You give the gift of tranquility. Honestly. Wonderful in its entirety.
