A Bright Yellow Golden Moon Floating High Above

A Bright Yellow Golden Moon Floating High Above A bright yellow golden moon floating high above Its radiant rays falling softly to our sweet earth Beauty, flowers, her dancing with me all in love And my heart happily singing for all its worth. That epic summer we both swore Fall we would wed Gleaming sun that day was bright vermillion glowing She my sweet darling, arising from our soft bed Our kisses were like a raging river flowing My lover and I had our rejoicing glows too Alas! How could we know such ardent love could die She sent a dear John letter and to Hawaii flew Left me alone, with a mystery, no damn clue. I remember my body shook and my mind ran. She, had thus deserted me for another man. Robert J. Lindley, May 23rd Sonnet Note- True story.
