A Brief Thought

I'm creative I dance I make things out of things I play about with words See the World, how it spins I see focus shift from fast to slow See details with stories attached I look and just know I glide through the moments Twirling in dreams Then get stuck fast Instantly fall apart at the seams Then I'm back and delightful Giving all I can give Those moments forgotten Because I know how to live

This one probably sums you up pretty well Dilly, you see the bigger picture, probably get a little overwhelmed with it on occasion, but it’s only brief, you don’t dwell on it, and move on, A great outlook to have, enjoyed reading your thoughts, cheers David

Thank you David for sharing this analysis - I'm never quite sure how I'm viewed given I proceed with less filters in my poetry than I would in real life and my poetry can be on the negative angle so it's nice to know I give off ok vibes :)

Two steps forward and one step back. We stumble and fall but pick ourselves up and keep moving on. Life is an obstacle course that we maneuver through. Nicely expressed in your lines, Dilly.

Thanks Lin - I've not thought of it as an obstacle course although I have clear linear paths I follow without question like career and parenting. It's the being happy with myself path that I lose. Are there even any obstacles, I could stroll through but I drag debris in and then fall over it! Thanks for your kind words x

It's like climbing halfway up the mountain then stopping, then going back down again. I just let others do it for me.

It's like being at the top of a mountain and loving it, falling off and fretting that I'm hurt, turns out completely unscathed then making my way back up again, sometimes quick, sometimes medium pace sometimes with the wave of a wand (usually the external validation spell) :)
