A Brief Encounter
I think of you often now it seems
I see you standing in the sun
Your raven hair tossed by the breeze
Skin touched by a bronze kiss
Waiting for me
I reflect on the night we met
My heart pounding in rhythm
To the unrelenting beat of the music
Gathering the courage to ask
You to dance
A summer affair
An intense moment of passion
It was a brief encounter
But its memory will live forever
Burning brightly in my mind
