A birthday to remember
In two days I'll be turning twenty nine. All that makes me feel, is greatful. The older I've gotten, and with each year . Birthdays, with their typical clichés are no longer as important.
Don't get me wrong. I love cake, glitzy gift bags and cards with bold lettering, but with the big 30 quickly approaching, it's made me look back on the last ten years and all the blessings that's come my way. Especially every birthday I've gotten to spend with those I love most. My family. The family I grew up together with, and the one I've built of my own.
So many laughs, tears and a lot of lessons learned. Even in my darkest times or being faced with the biggest obstacles, it was an extra step on my ladder of milestones, and with absolute certainty can say, every part was worth it .
I have a man in my life, whose selfless, kind , handsome and the best dad in the entire world, that I'm lucky enough to call my boyfriend, and partner in life for eight years. My daughter's ~
Three bright beautiful girls , all different in their own way, Except
all of them having the same kind eyes which I see every day. Such a gift I've been given and will cherish always , and above all.
The name Julianne was chosen by my mother. But that person was only the beginning of my journey. Hearing 'Mum' being called out, is not only my children's name for me, but a title of my true purpose. Twelves months older, it feels right . Twenty eight was good. Twenty nine, I know will be great . More laughs , even more tears and no doubt a lot more lessons to be learnt. But I'm ready.
Happy birthday, baby Aries. ?
