A Bent Body

The body bent, worn, old flesh on this frame. Within a heart warm, but aged porous bone Support all that moves;not just one alone When from earth gone; will one remember name Long ago to pleasant earth softly came From baby to adult body had grown When desire for family started one of own Persued life_lived each day unashame Founded a love who would to him be true Loves her still even now with my white hair Have to now gone for those comfy shoes Desires each day to spend time in recliner chair Good to have in life one who loves dear Wonderful for each their sorrows to bear

Very romantic poem. Too people who love each other will eventually bend together like beautiful wilted flowers but flowers none the less. Take care

Yes, the sadness of getting old, I am learning it, Sara. One must have a good attitude to survive well, and even then, it is difficult! One that I am sure many can relate to, this poem is! Luv, andrea

we all came out of a womb that was our spring. we later planted seeds and gather them in our fall. the season is over and we will be reproduced we dont know how many times. but the real amazing thing to find out is how many people it took to make you. two parents, four grandparents.eight great grandparents, sixteen great great grand parents. as far back as to find that it took an entire nation to make one child. you.

Sarah, I call this a poem of humanity ... it reminds me of Milton's Sonnet on his blindness. I felt the weight of every word. Good write. Thanks for reading my poems, you are always so kind.
