A Beautiful View

When climbing over mountains our future was always below All our highs lay in the vales underneath the rainbow Now walking through vales our past is eternally above From where we seen the arc and ultimately fell in love For Love's Sake Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Regina McIntosh 01/27/23

Beautiful brevity, with depth of romantic ardor! Only after climbing over mountains and walking through vales that you fell in love to last a life time. :) Instant love may not last!

Heya Valsa, yeah this one is all about perspective, looking back through time from the spot where you now stand, and ultimately found love, a spot once viewed from above but had no idea you were viewing your future, indeed instant love can be ephemeral but still beautiful whilst the moment lasts, cheers David

Thank you Shirley, a little abstract perhaps, but then again so is love, it can happen in an instant yet last a lifetime, cheers David

Heya Jenna, I was pleasantly surprised to make a place with this short piece, perspectively written of course, but I think the message comes through clearly enough, cheers David

Exactly what I was trying to portray Anaya, without too many adjectives, keeps it simple yet fully understood, cheers David

I had this one up for a few hours, then took it down to tinker about with, I’m glad you remembered it Tom, I’m not a great romantic at heart, so I’m using perspective here as a different medium to view love, thanks so much for stopping by again, cheers David
