A Beautiful Soul
A BEAUTIFUL SOUL
How it’s possible to see beauty
In something that you can’t actually see?
I’ll tell you that it is possible indeed
For I see beautiful souls
And it’s not with my eyes that I see
I see it through my heart
Because their beauty shines from within
It shines from small kind gestures
That others take for guaranteed
But only beautiful souls
Can give solace through their grief
Can ignore their own despair
While they dry another’s tears
Their actions show their inner light
The beauty they have inside
For appearances fade with time
But internal beauty is sublime
So If you find a hurting soul
That still cares about how you feel
Pay attention because you have found
A beautiful jewel that you should hold in esteem
