A Bad Rap

Throughout history, the color black has gotten a bad rap. Black is deemed very evil. You see a black cloud or a black cat, something bad is about to happen. Take the colors Red, Blue and Yellow, they are beautiful. For they are part of the rainbow. Add them all together, and you get the color black. I believed the myth that black was bad too. These days when I look at my reflection, I see that black is beautiful. * Inspired By The Color Black contest 08/26/2021

People will always discriminate, e.g., if not skin colour, then by height, weight, SEG, etc., but children always choose by whether or not a person is fun to be with . . .

Black and white essential in our lives and so respected in an artist's life and in poetry also. These two colors are interdependent in all the above, even though they are classified as not being colors - both beautiful. Hugs and blessings my friend. Jennifer
