A Lone Firefly

In the lull of the waxing moon, a night endows with poetic glamor;
In the wink of an eye, flickering by in the midst of shrubs' shadow,
A resplendent sight. A scramble of fireflies, filling the open-air tow
Through screen gauzy of light. One lone firefly poise, a beacon of glamour,
There, upon a steeple leaf as it appears to me in utter darkness.
Each only a mere blink of light, wandering wide and gone in the blackness.
In the lull of the waxing moon, a night endowed with poetic glamor.
