~A Christmas Song~ (Free Verse) Christmas is the time of the year To spread all these cheers and rejoice To heal a lot of our spiritual wounds And to bring a lot of love in the homes Christmas is the time of the year To be in everything a good sports Not just to think of presents and toys But to spread lots of good will and peace on Earth Christmas is the time of the year Not just to think of green money And all your credit cards how to spend Or how many things you are lucky to get Christmas is the time of the year To give to the ones that got nothing Not even a nice place for the night And for the ones abused day and nigh Christmas is the time of the year To put God our Creator first And not just that nice, and jolly made up Santa Claus But Jesus our Savior that came and was born on this day Christmas is the time of the year To think of all the big and the small And all the homeless that got nothing to eat And also all the children that suffer on earth So let's go and spread all this love, peace and joy Not only for the Holidays or Christmas day But for every single day of the year And let's not forget the unfortunate, and sick For Christmas time is for them too.
