*** One By One
Here she comes Mama Kitty carrying her
Proud load tightly but ever so gentle in her
mouth she hops on the fence over she comes
down on the other side and right to The Keeper.
She lays the kitten at Keepers feet and off she
goes up and over quicker than a blink out of sight
as Keeper looks up to see where else she might
have gone to than there she was again with #2.
Again she hops on to the fence and over she came.
Proud kitten number two has arrived and she lays
it as the same as the other at the keepers feet.
She looks at The Keeper, as to say, 'Get With It'.
Finally, all have arrived let me see how many are
here One, Two, Three, Four, Five Beautiful kittens.
Keeper bends down ever so gently and checks each
one to make sure they were fine and not hurt anywhere.
Mama lays down at Keepers feet with her children all
there looks up again Meows, as to say, 'I Did Good'
Yes keeper replies back What A Good Job You Did.
So after the hours pass Keeper goes back to work.
A empty tote is the ticket Keeper thought filling it with
blankets, towels and leaves one by one each kitten is
gently laid in the tote and oops! here came mama kitty
stepping right on their little furry heads she settles in.
Now all is well once again at The Keepers House in the
warm Spring Sunshine Keeper goes back to the flower
beds keeping a most watchful eye on her new addition.
Mama Kitty sleeping and along side lays all five kittens.
