We are lost in the throes of this reality,
There is no questioning of which appears most real,
Though many hold content for its banality,
So seek the visions hidden behind nature's veil.
The essential flame of the soul remains alight,
Immortal in its quest for perfect harmony,
Only in this physical realm do we lack sight,
Overwhelmed is thy spirit in this raging sea.
The rivers of the night that run beneath our feet
Are deep and wayward in their grotesque form.
In that deepest darkness, where man and spirit meet,
No clash nor fight appears, only enlightening storm.
And from the sky, the eagle's wide wings will appear,
And hydra's many heads join on horizons near.
