In a Split Second

He saw A fleeting flicker Of her smile At twilight time, Beaming down With such warmth on his face, So illuminating the smile! Then he blinked And didn't see her vanish On the silvery full moon Wait, was that Indeed her face? Or was it just his imagination? Is it because He's missed her For so long? Date written: 06/05/2022

A magical and mystical journey indeed Edward. Somethings the longing heart sees what it longs to see! Love the sense of mystery at the end of your pensive poem. Hope you and your family are doing well. Blessings and prayers my friend.

Faces of those we love dearly flash before our inward eyes now and then and we are at a loss to decide if it is reality or mere fancy. Beautifully penned. Congratulations on your sweet win Edward !

Memories that bring back endearment of love once experienced. A moment gone yet not forgotten. Emotions well invoked, Edward.
