History One Man’s Opinion
The accomplishments of history
are extraordinary, good and bad
and not necessarily limited to these
two categories. In fact, I look on
the record of history as I might
on the droppings of elephants passing
in the night. The sleeper may insist
he never heard them at all. But in
the morning, the evidence of what
they left behind would make
the hardest skeptic a believer.
