Grace 1
A Girl even as a toddler her tiny hands cuddles a doll
She sits on the ground properly, covers her shoulders with a shawl
Take her baby doll to her lap, rock and sings, her favourite lullaby
She bathes her, combs her hair, feeds her, even changes her doll’s nappy
A Mother’s care for her child is shown even before she could walk
Nature is so strange, like a grown up woman how she plays this roll
She couldn’t be parted she sleeps with her doll beside her pillow
Wherever she goes her doll is dragged along the pavement safely
A Girl even as a toddler
She rapidly marches to her luscious youth so sweet her next call
Wrapped up in the Mother Nature’s gifts she endured not knowingly
Her love and compassion for every being expressed vividly
The motherly affection throughout her life, greatest love is shown
A Girl even as a toddler
