An Autumn Tarpaulin
Thoughts of the past beneath trees shade deep sighs
as leaves rain above relax ambience.
A mountain gravel path laced in pigments
freckle crimson, copper, and honey gold
striking crisp blithe as soft waves of fluttering
pinnate leaves still battle for existence
on living limbs, an autumn tarpaulin.
The rise of dust beneath the evergreen,
the rushing timbre cool river against
gravel and rocks banks deep flowing downhill.
A moment adorned in an heirloom time
a bouquet of many autumns that chime;
joy of many early dawns.
Mother deer with newborn fawns
arousing out epic world in springtime.
