A Moment of Love
Warm days have ceased;
Sound of geese flying overhead,
Nightingales serenade
Songs of autumn.
Nature smells thread
On the night breeze
Through ember blaze hues
Leaves on boughs,
Some chased away
Others tucked warmly under
The cover of the canopy.
I lie here enjoying
The twinkling
Of fervor feeling,
Like a plume
Bathed in a warm trance,
Whilst moon rays lengthen
Across the bed,
Clouds blush the
Soft-dying night.
Do they know
A moment of love ?
